Biography

An Ran has long been engaged in the clinical treatment and research of female intimate plastic surgery, surgical treatment and reconstruction of vulvar diseases, periorbital rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and facial injectable cosmetic treatments. An Ran is particularly skilled in labia majora and minora plasty, hymen repair, surgical treatment and repair of benign and malignant vulvar skin tumors, lower eyelid blepharoplasty, correction of age-related upper eyelid dermatochalasis, and aesthetic rhinoplasty. An Ran was sponsored by the government to undertake a two-year visiting study at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.

Served as principal investigator of one National Natural Science Foundation of China project and, as a key project member, participated in one National Key R&D Program project and one National Natural Science Foundation of China International Cooperation and Exchange Project. Published more than 10 papers as first author or corresponding author in domestic and international academic journals, 9 of which are indexed in SCI.
